Diving Fees
- If you book one dive in a marine sanctuary and one dive off Mactan, you will be charged the fee for two dives in a marine sanctuary.
- "Additional diving" refers to extra dives you do on the same day after completing your initial two fun dives.
- Additional dives in sanctuaries (excluding the Mactan area) include boat expedition fees and sanctuary entrance fees. Please contact us each time for the exact cost.
Payments
- All prices are listed in Philippine Pesos (PHP), but you can pay in PHP, Japanese Yen (JPY), or US Dollars (USD).
- For payments in currencies other than PHP, the amount will be converted using our company's exchange rate on the day of payment.
- A 12% Value Added Tax (VAT) is legally added to all prices in the Republic of the Philippines. At Emerald Green, we waive the VAT for cash payments.
- We accept various credit cards. Please note that a 12% VAT will be added to the total for all credit card payments.
- Due to poor internet connectivity in the Philippines, our credit card machine may not always work. In such cases, we kindly ask that you pay with cash.
- An environmental tax of 100 pesos per person per day will be added to all activity fees, as mandated by Lapu-Lapu City starting May 1, 2024.
Cancellation Policy
- A 100% cancellation fee will be charged for same-day cancellations of diving, snorkeling, and other activities (excluding city tours).
- For activities that include a meal, day trips, and city tours, a 100% cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations made after 4 PM on the previous day. For more details, please contact us.
- Activities proceed rain or shine. If you cancel due to bad weather for personal reasons, the standard cancellation fee will apply.
- In the event of a typhoon or other severe weather, we may cancel diving or activities at our discretion for safety reasons. In this case, no cancellation fee will be charged.
- During severe weather, tour itineraries and departure times may be significantly altered to ensure everyone's safety.
Other Important Information
- Pick-up and drop-off are free within Mactan Island. A separate fee generally applies for other areas. For transfers between Cebu City and our shop, the cost is P500 per person one-way (for groups of two or more).
- Customers with large tattoos or those affiliated with gangs are not permitted at our shop. We ask for your understanding.
Important Notes
- Please keep a close eye on personal items like cameras and dive computers to prevent loss or damage.
- We are not responsible for the theft, loss, or damage of equipment, cameras, or other belongings at the gear washing area, within the shop, or in its immediate vicinity. Please manage your own belongings.
Required Forms
- To save time on the first morning, you can print and fill out the necessary forms in advance.
Medical Certificates (Valid for 6 months)
- Ages 70 and up: You must bring a medical certificate.
- Ages 60–69: We highly recommend that you bring a medical certificate.
- Under 59: If you believe you are not in good health for diving, please bring a medical certificate.
- The certificate must have been issued within the last six months.
